Shaving Cream is a Good Thing

For shaving!

Get your minds out of the gutter.

I mean, I get it, but I want to actually talk about shaving.

It’s such a pain, right ladies?  Needing to shaving is a serious thorn in my side.  I don’t think men enjoy it any more than we do, though.

To begin with, there’s all the different kinds of shaving cream to choose from.  For both men and women.  I tend to opt for a nice soap or body wash, but Mark uses cream or gel.  And when I run out of my soap, I will borrow his cream.

In fact, just the other day, I even borrowed his razor because mine was totally dead and I’m sure if I tried to use it on my very hairy legs I could have seriously wounded myself!

But you know what?  His razor did not work right on my legs.  I don’t know if it was just because I hadn’t shaved in so long, or there really is a difference between men’s and women’s razors, OR perhaps I should have used his shaving cream with HIS razor!

What do you think?

All I know is a great razor and the perfect soap or cream will improve the shaving experience tremendously.  And although using my husband’s razor wasn’t all that great, using his shaving cream is kind of nice sometimes.

Did I just say tremendously?

Can I ask you guys something else?  WHY do we grow hair anywhere besides our heads?  Anyone know the answer to that?  Wouldn't you think by now the evolutionary process would have given it up?

But I digress.  Bottom line is we all have to shave (unless you're french or a gypsy or a french gypsy) and we want it to be as easy as possible.  I know I love when Mark gets a good shave.  I think he looks so good afterwards.

Not my husband. *sigh*

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you a blogger campaign by Bucks2Blog, about shaving cream, for which I was compensated. However, the views and opinions are totally my own. Who else would admit it had been a long time since she last shaved?

  3. I hate shaving too. A lot of blood letting almost every time.
I hate someone using my razor, like sharing a toothbrush.
Best shaving cream ever, my Dad's old Gillette heating dispensor. Warmed up the foam, felt so good in the morning...sigh

  4. I use women's shave gel (NOT CREAM *shudder*) and a men's razor. Women's razors such and cut the shit out of me.

  6. Back here stomping around in your archives and found this post.

    I am all giggly.

I hate shaving. HATE IT. With a blazing blue passion.

I usually use Olay body wash and a mans razor when I shave. To me? The men's razor works better than a woman's razor.

I think it really just boils down to what works best for each individual.
