Nestle Juicy Juice #FruitforAll Project Giveaway!

Do you remember late last month when I wrote this post in which I mentioned the Juicy Juice Fruit for All Project?
Well I did, and I am very excited to be able to participate in something that will give my local food bank, and one of YOUR local food banks, 400 meals.

That's right, this right here, is a post for a CHARITABLE giveaway!

How awesome is that?

It's awesome because...

All of this is in partnership with

Food is a basic human need. No one should have to go without it. It's just logical to me.

My local food bank is the Marysville Community Food Bank, where visits there are up 8% over last year. The need is real, and it's right in our backyards.

So if you care about helping end hunger in your community, enter the Nestle Juicy Juice giveaway to win a donation of 400 meals to your local food bank!

Ways to Enter

Mandatory: Leave me a comment telling me a little something about the need in your community.

Extra entry: Tweet I just entered to win a donation of 400 meals for my local food bank from @JuicyJuiceUSA's #FruitforAll Project, hosted by @JenAnnHall! and leave a separate comment with the tweet URL.

  1. There was just this news story in our area (a month ago) about how our local food pantry had to turn away people because they didn't have enough supply and even the big corporations were not donating like usual.

  5. So glad Erica put this on Facebook! Our KC community could definitely benefit from this. I know several like Harvesters that do a lot of good.

  7. Okay, okay, I'm here! I put out the word on Facebook and we're gonna get some entries. It's not just the rich and philanthropic who can write big checks for those who need it. We can do it in one comment. And here it is:

The Houston Food Bank serves a metropolitan area of 5 million people, many of whom were hit hard during the recession, for some of them, it was a depression, and most of those have yet to feel any type of economic recovery. I'd love to help the Houston Food Bank win the $400 so a few families will have a full pantry for a few weeks or so (if the kids don't eat it all in one night like mine do, the heathens).

    Thanks for this wonderful contest.

  8. I love VT and feel so lucky to live here. But I've read that Vermonters have a higher % of food insecure children than any state in the US!! The Burlington Food Bank helps a ton of people and I know they've been light on food this summer. Which is the worst time as many kids get subsidized meals via school during the year. But there isn't any program to replace those meals when the kids are out of school. So I'm sure they could use some extra help.

It is very kind of you to organize a food drive like this :)

  12. The statistics for our neighborhood school show 97% poverty in our area. We have food banks/food pantries, but it's hard to keep them stocked, especially in the summer.

  14. This is amazing. Cleveland could really use an extra 400 meals, especially with so many children home for another month of summer, endlessly hungry. xo

  21. I live in North Portland where many people are underfed. The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at my church distributes food boxes three separate times a week. They posted in our bulletin last week that two other local food banks closed recently and demand is up. The 400 meals from Juicy Juice would certainly come in handy for their clientele.

    Thanks for doing this, Jen!
